Read Your Dog is owned and operated by Peter Caine.  Peter began working with animals in the late 1960s when he helped his father train hunting dogs. After serving in the military, he moved to New York City, where he worked as a veterinary technician and volunteered with animal rescue groups and shelters. Peter has been dog training in Brooklyn and upstate New York since 1994.

In four decades of working with dogs and other animals, Peter has developed a highly effective approach based on American and English field training.  He combines it with physical conditioning, agility practice, and Frisbee play to make training fun for you and your dog.
